Derek Blasberg is YouTube’s Head of Fashion and Beauty, and a New York Times best-selling author. He was born and raised in St Louis, Missouri, and attended New York University, graduating in 2004 with two degrees, Journalism and Dramatic Literature. His first job was as an assistant at Vogue, and in his career he has been the Editor-At-Large of Harper’s Bazaar and Vanity Fair’s Man on the Street. In 2016, it was announced he would be the host of the revamped 'CNN Style’ on CNN International, which profiled Karl Lagerfeld, Valentino, Tracey Emin, Emma Watson, Kendall Jenner, and Reese Witherspoon. In 2018, he joined YouTube in his newly created role. Derek is the author of a 2010 collection of humorous essays about etiquette, 'Classy: Exceptional Advice for the Extremely Modern Lady,’ which was translated into several languages and published in Asia, South America, and Europe. He published a sequel, ‘Very Classy: Even More Advice for the Extremely Modern Lady,’ in 2012. In 2015, he published ‘Bazaar: Models,’ a survey of the most influential faces in fashion history. Blasberg has been a staffer of the Gagosian Gallery since 2014, and is currently the executive editor of Gagosian Quarterly. He lives on New York’s Upper East Side with a dachshund called Monster.
Head of Southern Europe, Klarna
Francesco Passone currently serves as Country Manager for Italy as well as responsible for Klarna’s Solutions & Delivery teams globally. Francesco has been working at Klarna for 8 years in various positions and locations. Most recently he has led the launch of the Spanish and Italian market. Prior to this, he has been working for PAY.ON/ACI Worldwide, leading their global e-commerce consulting team covering payments and fraud management strategies for major international retailers and financial institutions. Francesco holds a Master Degree from Politecnico di Milano (Milan, Italy) and the Royal Institute of Technology (Stockholm, Sweden).
Founder, Chairman and CEO, FARFETCH
In 2008 José Neves launched Farfetch, bringing together his interests in fashion and technology, as well as his experience in design, wholesale and retail, to create a business that would celebrate and support the diversity of the global fashion industry. José has been involved in the fashion start-up world since the mid-1990s when he launched footwear business SWEAR. José later founded SIX London, a fashion licensing and wholesale company selling to 600 retailers worldwide. In 2001 José opened the renowned bstore, which won the British Fashion Award for Retailer of the Year in 2006.
Founder Karen Wazen Eyewear
In just three years, Karen has amassed a global audience of over 12 million, appeared on the covers of major magazines worldwide, and cameoed in a Hollywood blockbuster. What’s more, she has grown her business, Karen Wazen Eyewear, into an international brand, worn by the likes of celebrities Kourtney Kardashian and Demi Lovato. She has achieved all this while raising three young children - redefining the concept of ‘working-mom’.
Her genuine authenticity has brought Karen great success and now she uses her platform to highlight humanitarian issues on behalf of the UNHCR as one of their High Profile Supporters. Her latest venture into the tech world is the launch of UAE’s first influencer game app: Karen Wazen My World. Her loyal digital community have helped the game soar to the top place in major MENA countries.
Karen has been a guest lecturer at Harvard University on the topic of digital entrepreneurship, in 2019 she has been named ‘Influencer of the Year’ by Entrepreneur Magazine and ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ by Cosmopolitan, while in 2020 she gained a spot on Forbes' list of ‘Women Behind Middle Eastern Brands’. Despite all her accolades, Karen protects her ‘family first’ mentality, spending her days in Dubai enjoying quality time with her husband and children. In doing so, she continues to showcase a remarkably human side to influencing.

Rupi joined the retail team at Google a couple of years ago from McKinsey, where she led the global digital retail strategy for 9 years. She is passionate about the global luxury and retail industry, and most recently has stepped up to lead the Luxury Retail team at Google.

Stephen Youngblade leads brand marketing across the lifestyle category for The North Face. His focus includes driving strategy and storytelling efforts for all collaborations, energy marketing and sustainable product innovations. Most recently, he brought to market the brand's global sustainability commitments as well as The North Face x Gucci collaboration. digital agency in Italy, DOING, he joined the Active Cosmetics division in L’Oréal to lead the global social
listening team, working hand in hand with marketing teams to understand better the consumers and
activate them in the right way starting from real time insights. In Jan 2020, Luca joined the global digital
team where he was responsible for leading all the Group brands activities on Advocacy and Social

Chelsey Wayte Kaffka
Vice President, Global Marketing and Programming
Chelsey Wayte has over 14 years of multifaceted fashion events experience, spanning marketing, communications, event production and strategic partnerships. Currently Vice President, Global Marketing & Programming for IMG’s Fashion Events & Properties, Chelsey leads a team of world class marketers integrating brand partners throughout the fashion industry’s key events and beyond.
Prior to joining IMG, Chelsey founded Vijon, an experiential marketing and events agency. Previously, she led events at PR agency Bollare, bringing to life impactful brand partnerships for Alber Elbaz x LeSportsac, Disney Villains x The Blonds and Marvel Studios’ Black Panther NYFW project. Before relocating to New York, Chelsey was Director of Marketing and Designer Relations at IMG in Sydney.

Yishu Wang is a Chinese-born marketer who has spent the last 10 years advising, launching and growing Western brands in the Chinese market and Chinese brands in the West. Working at a number of successful agencies before launching her own, Yishu has worked with some of the world’s most recognisable brands and retailers in the fashion and luxury world. From brand identity, creative executions and marketing strategies, Yishu is experienced with all aspects of taking an existing brand into a new market. She regularly features in industry publications and news on marketing and China.

With a mission to deepen creators’ relationships with and success on LTK, Lake builds strategic partnerships with creators and their representation to further support their clients across all platforms.

Sarah Shannon is Editorial Director of Vogue Business, the online fashion publication launched by Condé Nast, leading a global team of journalists. Her career spans over 10 years in business journalism, across the fashion, luxury and retail sectors. Shannon spent over eight years at Bloomberg News in London as senior retail reporter and has also been a regular contributor to the Financial Times and a contributing editor at the Business of Fashion.

Within Lush, Jack is perhaps best known as the man behind all things digital – including websites, apps and an in-shop till system. But he’s also the inventor of many of our best selling and iconic products, including Intergalactic, Black Rose and Dragon’s Egg bath bombs. Jack made headlines world over when he led the team creating The Experimenter video, and for taking a stance on Social Media for Lush. Driving new ways to connect with Lush communities online, he’s never afraid to challenge convention.
Beginning his career working alongside his mum (and Inventor of the first bath bomb in 1989), Mo Constantine, Jack grew up in the midst of a company that likes to shake up the industry. As Chief Digital Officer, Jack believes his part of the business should be responsible for finding tech solutions that make Lush (and the wider world) a better, fairer and more sustainable place.

Dina Fierro is a creative thinker and seasoned marketer with more than 15 years of experience. A graduate of FIT, she launched one of the first successful fashion and beauty blogs in 2006. Her early immersion in the influencer community led to a career in emerging media, where she’s guided the digital, social, influencer and experiential marketing strategies for a multitude of brands, both agency and brand-side. As the Vice President, Global Digital Strategy and Social Engagement at NARS, she oversees key digital and social touchpoints globally, with a focus on innovation - inclusive of gaming, the metaverse and the virtual economies.

Maghan McDowell is the Senior Innovation Editor at Vogue Business, where she leads its coverage of technology and innovation. She is the author of the weekly Technology Edit newsletter and the voice of the Tech Edit podcast. She is known for identifying the key drivers of the future of fashion and retail, and offering digestible insights on which technologies matter. Before joining Condé Nast, McDowell reported for publications including W, Marie Claire, San Francisco Chronicle and Business of Fashion, and was the first technology reporter for WWD.
Lisa S. Yu
Vice President of Genuine German
Lisa S. Yu is the founder and CEO of GēnLab and Vice-President of Genuine German, a one-stop collaborative partner for China market entry. Previously, Lisa spent over five years at L'Oréal, where she became the youngest ever Country Head of Social at age 25, spearheading digital marketing strategy across China. Her modern approach resulted in L'Oréal securing five out of the top six spots on the external L2 China Digital Love Brand Index, up from two within two years. Lisa holds an MBA from B.I. Norwegian Business School and Shanghai Fudan University, her recent research has focused on Chinese cosmetic brands going global.

Kati Chitrakorn is a journalist with an interest in new commerce models, social platforms, retail and internet trends. Previously she was a reporter at The Business of Fashion, where she worked on the launch of The Business of Beauty. As Global Communications Director at Coty, Letizia manages the communication for a portfolio of seven brands across the luxury and consumer beauty division: Chloé, Lacoste, Miu Miu, Roberto Cavalli, Orveda, Rimmel London and Bourjois. Previously, she was the head of PR, Influence and Event for Dolce&Gabbana beauty where she worked on similar challenges, after over 10 years as a PR in the fashion industry.
